Your dual study program BWL - Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement (B.A.)

On the BWL with the focus on Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement dual degree programme, you will learn how to lead companies to act in an ecologically and socially responsible manner. You will acquire the necessary knowledge to make companies sustainable by learning how to develop business models and strategies that are both environmentally friendly and economically viable. After graduating, you will be qualified to support companies on their path to responsible corporate management and actively contribute to the creation of a sustainable future.

Depending on where you study, you will study in one of our two study models: dual study programme or dual myStudy programme.

Contents of the dual study programme in BWL - Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement

In the dual study programme BWL with the focus on Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement, we prepare you for the development of future-proof, sustainable business models. You will immerse yourself in topics such as sustainable and quality management and analyse trends and challenges in the sustainability sector. From green logistics to sustainable technologies and digitalisation in the financial sector, you will gain comprehensive knowledge. A seminar offers you insights into the consumer perspective on sustainability. From the 5th or 6th semester, you choose specialisation modules that deepen your understanding of the circular economy.

Sustainability consultant at a management consultancy

As a sustainability consultant, you will support companies in defining and implementing their sustainability goals. You will carry out analyses, develop sustainability concepts and advise on the integration of sustainable practices into the corporate strategy.

Sustainability manager:in

As a sustainability manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring sustainability strategies within the company. You will identify potential for sustainable business practices, implement measures and monitor progress in relation to ecological, social and economic goals.

Project manager for sustainability projects

As a project manager, you will lead specific projects aimed at implementing sustainable measures in companies or organisations. You will coordinate team members, monitor budgets and timelines, and ensure that the goals of the sustainability project are achieved. You will also be responsible for producing regular progress reports and ensuring that all measures meet sustainability standards.
