Contents of the dual study programme in BWL - Unternehmensführung

The BWL with the focus on Unternehmensführung degree programme prepares you for the complex demands of the business world. You will immerse yourself in the diverse aspects of business management and acquire important skills to master dynamic business environments. You will learn effective communication and negotiation techniques, deepen your knowledge of business psychology and deal with organisational development. You will also acquire essential expertise for the management tasks of the future through modules on advanced leadership and agile transformation. The specialisation modules, which you choose from the 5th or 6th semester, prepare you specifically for changes and challenges in the business world.

Dual Studies BWL - Unternehmensführung: Your career opportunities

The dual degree programme in BWL with the focus on Unternehmensführung offers you a lot of perspectives: It prepares you for responsible positions in welfare organisations, social services, associations or non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
 
After graduation, for example, you will work as: 

Founder or managing director

As a founder, you are responsible for turning a business idea into reality and bringing a new company to life. Once you have achieved this, as a managing director and manager you are responsible for implementing your business idea on the market and successfully keeping your product or service there. Relevant management skills from your studies will help you to successfully manage your company.

International Innovation Manager:in

Innovation managers are project managers for internal or external innovation projects. You take care of the future viability of a company, help shape the digital transformation and create a culture of innovation within the company. In medium-sized companies in particular, you act as a link between company management and technical innovations.

Product Owner or Product Manager

As a product owner or product manager, you specialise in the market launch and implementation of a new product, business model or field. Your goal is to continuously increase value - not only in terms of the product, but also in relation to the project team. You are responsible for linking agile management methods of digitalisation with entrepreneurial methods and benefit in your daily work from the combination of relevant marketing and sales know-how as well as entrepreneurial skills from your studies.
