Bachelor E-Commerce

Due to increasing digitalization, there is a growing need for trained specialists who can actively shape the future of retail. In your Bachelor's degree in E-Commerce, you will have the opportunity to work at the interface between retail and digitalization.

Your studies will take you forward:

• You will benefit from the interdisciplinary combination of sales, digital marketing and technology.

• You will receive a broad basic education in the professional field of e-commerce, enriched with current trend topics such as AI.

• After graduating, you will have extensive applied knowledge of operational and strategic fields of action in e-commerce and sales.

• With completed vocational training as "Kaufmann:frau im E-Commerce" (E-Commerce Clerk), you benefit both time-wise and financially during your studies: You save at least 50 ECTS credits.

You develop your expertise in modules such as "Konsumentenverhalten”, Onlinemarketing, "Medienrecht”, E-Commerce I and E-Commerce II or “Digitale Business Modelle (Projekt)”. Your methodological skills are strengthened in "Marktforschung”, "KI im Marketing & E-Commerce (Seminar)”, “Agiles Projektmanagement (Projekt)”, Webshop Development (Project) or “Growth Hack Analyse (Projekt)”. Furthermore, you can  choose between elective modules such as Artificial Intelligence, “Projekt: K.I. Exzellenz mit kreativen Prompt-Techniken", “K.I.-basierte Medienproduktion”, Data-Driven Marketing and many more. 

Electives: In Electives A, B and C, you choose two elective modules each. Elective D: Decide at the beginning of your studies between an internship at a company or all modules from Elective D. You complete the internship with a written reflection. If you choose the modules from Elective D, all modules from this elective must be completed. Mixed forms between the internship and Elective D are not possible.

Depending on your personal or professional situation, full-time study is not always easy to manage. That is why we have also developed part-time programmes for all our degrees, which offer flexible and longer study periods. This way, you can study alongside your job or during your time off, whether at home or abroad. The content of the different models is identical. Depending on the study model, we will adjust your tuition fees accordingly. With the part-time variants, your weekly study workload is reduced.

Can't finish your degree in the allotted time? No problem! We will develop the right study model for everyone. If you realise that you need more time, you can easily switch to another study model with three months’ notice before the end of the month. These are our different study models:
