Those studying Special Education are ultimately awarded the title of “Staatlich anerkannte/r Heilpädagoge/in” (in English: “State-recognised special education specialist”) if they successfully complete the special education practice project.

Anerkennungspraktikum für die staatliche Anerkennung zum:zur Heilpädagog:in
Um zusätzlich zum akademischen Abschluss Bachelor of Arts die Urkunde als staatlich anerkannte:r Heilpädagog:in zu erhalten, musst Du zu Deinem Bachelorabschluss ein 100-tägiges Anerkennungspraktikum absolvieren. Dabei hast Du die Möglichkeit, Dein Anerkennungspraktikum auch an Deiner derzeitigen Arbeitsstelle zu absolvieren, wenn diese den Voraussetzungen entspricht. Ab dem fünften Semester kannst Du mit dem Anerkennungspraktikum starten. Voraussetzung ist, dass Du mindestens 120 ECTS erreicht hast.

Depending on your personal or professional situation, full-time study is not always easy to manage.
