How do you combine form and content and how do you use current software tools correctly? Your dual study programme in media design teaches you everything about scientific and technical basics as well as creative presentation methods and techniques:
You will receive a sound education in all areas of media design: print, online, mobile media, photo, video, presentation and animation.
From the first semester onwards, you will implement design projects for your personal design portfolio.
Depending on the specialisation, you will become an expert in cross-media design or interaction design.
You will gain additional business knowledge that will help you in your professional life.

Admission requirements
You can be admitted to the dual study programme at IU if you attend the IU application interview with your student advisor and meet one of the following requirements.
Please note that for our design degree programmes, in addition to your university entrance qualification, you must also prove your aptitude for design by taking a further examination (GEP/ design aptitude test). The current correction period can take up to 3 weeks. Plan this period into your submission. We expressly recommend that you submit the design aptitude test by 10 September at the latest for the start of the course on 1 October. Later submissions may not be considered and it may not be possible to start your studies on 1 October.
