Was ist New Work?
Der Begriff New Work gehört zu den schillerndsten Schlagworten unserer Zeit: Er steht für fundamentale Veränderungen in der Arbeitswelt und dient als Sammelbegriff für moderne Arbeitsmethoden, die in der Managementpraxis zunehmend Anwendung finden. Ursprünglich wurde der Ausdruck von Frithjof Bergmann Mitte der 1970er-Jahre geprägt.
Der Philosoph und Begründer des New Work-Konzepts beschäftigte sich intensiv mit der Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Arbeit, da er das bisherige Arbeitssystem als veraltet einstufte. Seiner Ansicht nach mangelte es an Selbstständigkeit, Freiheit und Teilhabe der Mitarbeitenden. Er plädierte für die Ausgestaltung eines Arbeitsumfelds, das für die Mitarbeitenden weniger Bürde und Last darstellen, sondern mit Freiheit und Selbstentfaltung einhergehen sollte.
Seit Bergmann hat sich das Verständnis von New Work in Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft, Forschung und Politik weiterentwickelt. Im Fokus aller Begriffsinterpretationen stehen Freude an der Arbeit, Motivation und Sinnstiftung.

Study model and prices for the online Bachelor's study programme in New Work
Depending on your personal or professional situation, full-time study is not always easy to manage. That is why we have also developed part-time programmes for all our degrees, which offer flexible and longer study periods. This way, you can study alongside your job or during your time off, whether at home or abroad. The content of the different models is identical. Depending on the study model, we will adjust your tuition fees accordingly. With the part-time variants, your weekly study workload is reduced.
Can't finish your degree in the allotted time? No problem! We will develop the right study model for everyone. If you realise that you need more time, you can easily switch to another study model with three months’ notice before the end of the month. These are our different study models:
