What are virtual labs? Our virtual labs involve practical tasks that you simulate, model or calculate with special software tools or solve with the Arduino kit provided. You will receive the kit consisting of an Arduino microcontroller and some accessories such as sensors and LEDs from us at the beginning of the online study programme. Praxisprojekt: Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen 4.0
Zu Beginn suchst Du Dir ein Unternehmen, mit dem Du während Deines Projekts zusammenarbeitest. In Abstimmung mit dem Unternehmen wählst Du eine konkrete Aufgabenstellung. Mögliche Anwendungsfälle sind z.B. die Bereiche Nachhaltigkeit, Smart Home oder autonomes Fahren. Zur Bearbeitung Deiner Aufgabe setzt Du Dein im Studium erworbenes Wissen über Konzepte, Methoden und Werkzeuge praktisch ein. Die Ergebnisse zur Lösung Deiner Aufgabenstellung fasst Du in einer schriftlichen Arbeit zusammen.
Praxisprojekt: Hackathon
In diesem Modul lernst Du, zentrale Methoden anzuwenden, um eine praktische Lösung für ein relevantes Problem zu finden und einem interessierten Publikum zu erklären. Deine Aufgabe wählst Du aus Bereichen wie Elektromobilität, Robotik, Data Analytics, Process Automation oder digitale Geschäftsmodelle. Du bearbeitest Dein Thema mithilfe einer dazu passenden Prototyping-Umgebung: Das kann Hardware (z.B. Prototyping-Boards wie der Arduino) oder auch Software (z.B. technologiespezifische Entwicklungsumgebungen wie Matlab) sein. Am Ende stellst Du Dein Ergebnis in einer Projektpräsentation vor.
