IU STARTS TEACHING OPERATIONS

In 2000, IU (then IUBH) began teaching in Bad Honnef as the first university in Germany to offer digital as well as analogue learning. In 2016, it was the first university in the world to introduce online exams in distance learning and quickly became the largest university in Germany.

Rethinking education - this is the motto of the IU Advisory Board constituted in 2022. Together with Dr Frank Weise, Prof. Dr Tobias Bonhoeffer, Kamissa Camara, Karina Montilla Edmonds, Raffaela Rein, Lucy Stonehill, Jimmy Wales and Sascha Lobo, the IU is continuously creating new ways to provide access to education for more and more people worldwide.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
